Lenovo K4 Note Review

The Lenovo phablet lineup refreshes itself in a quick frequency, and the Lenovo K4 Note is the latest addition to the Note line from Lenovo. This device looks slightly different from the earlier variants and the addition of fingerprint sensor in the rear panel, below the camera lens makes the device appear to be more appealing than ever. For a budget smartphone with bigger display and compelling configuration, don’t look further Lenovo K4 Note.

Lenovo K4 Note comes with 2016 worthy specifications, and it would surely stay usable for next year at least.


Lenovo K4 Note sticks to using Mediatek CPUs as the earlier variants have received reliable performance output. It uses the MT6753 model which is octa core and CPU clock speed is 1.3 GHz. There’s a GPU as well, the Mali-T720MP3 which is dual core and offers very reliable performance while gaming and resource hungry multimedia activity like 1080p video shooting.


Two RAM variants are available depending on the need of the consumer base. There’s one version addressed by the variant number A7010 a48 which comes with 16 GB ROM and 3 GB RAM. There’s another variant – A7010 which comes with 2 GB RAM and three ROM variants – 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB. All the variants have external card slot that takes microSD cards up to 128 GB.

IPS LCD display technology is used on the Lenovo K4 Note like the earlier variants of Lenovo Note series; this one has a 5.5 inches display with 1080×1920 pixels offering a reasonable 401 ppi pixel density. The display is protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer on top; it also supports multi-touch for easier gestures and operation of the device.


Rear camera on the Lenovo K4 Note equips a 13 megapixel sensor with large f/2.2 aperture to let more light into the sensor, and offer greater depth of field while shooting. There’s a dual-tone LED flash light and phase detection technology has been incorporated for precise autofocusing. It shoots 1080p video at 30 fps. The front camera shoots in 5 megapixel. There’s no flash or OIS for any of the cameras.

Additional Features

This handset comes with a fingerprint sensor placed in the rear, just below the camera lens. Many recent Android devices follow this approach in design placement; the sensor seems to read the fingerprint very fast. Also, Lenovo K4 Note has NFC.


For Rs. 9,999; this is one of the most perfect handsets of 2016.
